1st review, the surgical mask

Surgical mask

For my first review i've decided to go for something simple, the original, the surgical face mask. In this post I will outline the good and the bad of this of mask after a week of use and then give you my overall opinion on the surgical mask. 

The Good:

There are a plethora of good things about this mask, first of all they're cheap, I mean dirt cheap, you can get them for like 50 cent or less. also they are mot to hard to breathe in. The fitting is very versatile and will fit almost any adult , the top of the is mouldable to fit your face better. The design is fairly neutral and no one will look at you twice for wearing it.

The Bad: 

Now on to the bad, the main problem with this mask is that it isn't reusable which means after you take it off you have to throw it out and get a new one next time you need it. Also if your wearing it for more than an hour or so it starts to get uncomfortable around your ears. What i found the first time i wore it was that there was a strange smell and it didn't feel to comfortable but i got used to it pretty quickly.

The verdict:

Though the masks are handy for if you need to pop in to the shops or if your wearing it for a short time,  but if you need to wear them all day every day then their simply to inconvenient as they're single use and not overly comfortable, i do still find it handy to keep a box of them though in case you or someone else need a fresh mask.
